[Jiang Yanli finds something big and round left outside her bedroom door, draped with a tarp from the garden! there's a small note pinned to the tarp that only has her name on it.

when she uncovers it, she finds a large, deep basin made of some kind of deep-grey ceramic stoneware, filled with water and a couple of blooming miniature lotus plants. among the stems and under the pads swim a pair of small, slightly odd-coloured fish!

this is all a bit big and bulky to keep on top of a desk or dresser. however, the base of the basin has little wheels so it's easy to move around wherever!]
